**The hours and days for this Assistant Longlife Manager position are Tuesday to Saturday 0700-1630
**At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role assisting the Department Manager, you could expect to be**:

- Training and developing team members in your Department
- Sales planning, rostering, ordering of stock and maintaining merchandise standards
- Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors
- Implementing promotion planning with great detail and in a timely manner

**In our next Assistant Longlife Manager we are looking for**:

- Previous people leadership experience in a retail environment
- A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with ordering, stocktake and rostering systems
- The ability to obtain a forklift licence
