**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

The Fellow will carry out a research project which they propose, which complements or extends current research in the School. This will be overseen by a Mentor in the School. The Fellow is also expected to contribute to the academic and cultural life of the School, e.g. giving guest lectures, a research seminar, and workshops for students, in agreement with the Head of School.

**Ō pūmanawa - About you**

The Fellow will be appointed full-time for up to three months between 1 February and 30 November 2026. The Fellow will be part of the Te Kura Tātari Reo - School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies and is expected to be regularly on campus.

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand. Travel costs are not included so applicants must already be in Wellington or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
