Trade is a growing part of our business and we’re looking for someone with the passion to continue to ensure our store is the leading trade and home improvement destination/supplier for everyone from the home DIYer to the large construction companies.

Ideally this role is suited to someone who has previous experience in supervising a team and sound knowledge and experience in the building industry, as well as a desire to be the best in their field.

**This will see you taking accountability for**:

- Ensuring customers are the number one priority, receiving the high standard of service they deserve;
- Promoting a team culture that encourages a positive working environment.
- Management of staff including staff rostering, training & development, recruitment, onboarding and employment relations.
- Maximizing sales and profits within the zone, ensuring sales targets are being met.
- Duty management functions; and
- Contributing to the overall success of the store by actively supporting health & safety, loss prevention initiatives & process.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- The ability to work as part of a team and provide direction and leadership.
- Excellent communication skills
- General computer skills and understanding administrative process.
- Ability to get a forklift License if not already obtained.
- Knowledge of products within building suppliers, timber and trade related products; and
- Be physically fit as there will be prolonged walking and standing on concrete floors, manual handling and lifting.

Reporting to the Store Manager this role is 45 hours per week worked across Sunday to Thursday.
