**The opportunity**

To support our growth within the Wellington / Lower North Island region, we’re looking for a Systems Engineer with a balance of strong technical competence and communication skills.

Reporting to the Lower North Island Sales Manager, you will support external customers including major clients, consultants, and channel partners to ensure they are maximising their utilisation of our security solution. To support your work with external customers, you will also build strong relationships with a wide variety of our Security team including BDMs, Technical Help Desk, Technical Staff and our Training and Operations Managers, collaborating with and supporting them.

Please note this is a fully remote sales role so you will require a suitable home office set up and it will involve some travel, mainly day trips with the occasional overnight.

**As part of #teamgallagher you will**
- Provide technical sales support to the Gallagher BDMs to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised
- Po-actively provide technical support, training and assistance to Gallagher partners and product users
- Communicate with our existing clients base to ensure retention and growth; understand and anticipate their business needs
- Identify and build new business relationships with key industry influences
- Have a growth mindset, committed to personal and team growth and have a real desire to continue your own personal development
- Be collaborative and caring, where you share knowledge freely and are motivated by making a positive difference

**To be successful in this role, you will have**
- 5 years+ experience in security systems or an information technology environment
- Project management experience
- Security Systems installation experience
- Knowledge and experience with Gallagher products (highly desired)
