Our client is New Zealand's largest and most iconic alcohol beverage company who market, sell, and distribute many of the country's favourite drinks including beer, cider, wine, spirits, ready-to-drink products, and a range of non-alcohol beverages.

**Bar Duty Manager position - On call position**
- We are needing an **on call/short notice** person to support our client at their onsite bar This role may suit as a top up on top of current role or just suit your lifestyle with every so often work as a Bar Duty Manager

**Responsibilities included.**
- Creating and monitoring the bar atmosphere - adhering to responsible drinking practices
- Ensuring that the bar area is well presented, the bar is fully stocked and maintaining a high level of cleanliness
- Managing purchases and being responsible for catering supplies
- Maintaining the bars weekly/ daily bookings dairy and assisting with the planning/ organisation of events held in the bar area
- Adhering to all processes and systems, and support in creating new processes or systems where required - be involved
- Be active in creating and maintaining a good culture and be passionate about improvement
- Be focused and able to deliver strong Health and Safety standards

**This role requires the following.**
- A current **LCQ Certificate (License Controller Qualification) **with understanding of bar operations and legislative compliance
- Ability to communicate effectively and comfortable dealing with a diverse audience
- Strong planning, operational and organisation skills
- Previous experience in managing a hospitality venue, bar, or similar environment
- Understanding of the Sale and Supply Alcohol Act (Beneficial)
