**About the Role**

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will assist Allied Concrete and NZ Independent Cement to deliver on its people strategy by providing advisory services to the managers on people related issues and deliver an exceptional employee experience across the businesses.

You will be involved in supporting organisational change, Employee Relations and Industrial Relations support, recruitment, learning and development, diversity and inclusion as well as providing day to day support, advice and guidance to our managers. In addition, you will ensure HR practices are compliant with relevant legislative requirements, the HW Richardson Group Policies and Concrete and NZIC's purpose, vision and values.

**About you**

To be successful in this position you will have outstanding relationship building and coaching skills and be calm and collected in your approach. You will have previous experience dealing with the full breadth of employment matters across the employee lifecycle with sound ability to interpret legislation, and individual and collective agreements. You will use your experience to assist and partner with management, not do their jobs for them

You will also have a solutions-focused approach and deal with issues and change in a positive and proactive way. You have proven experience working with and influencing management and delivering on strategic priorities in a collaborative way. You are highly organised and have the ability to prioritise high-value tasks and delegate things of an administrative nature to others.

Ideally you will have up to 5 years' demonstrated experience in an HR advisory or business partnering role. This role could be based in Invercargill or Christchurch and the Senior HR Advisor must have the ability to travel nationally when required given the role is full time.
