We are looking for an experienced Manager to lead and inspire the Veterinary Clinic in Feilding. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager, is a member of the Company's leadership team and works closely with the CEO. You will need to have a passion for the local community and the ability to provide leadership for the Feilding technical & retail teams.

This is a hands-on role for a Manager who has a strong business background and experience in leadership to work with a team of 65 persons. You will have previous management experience, ideally within the veterinary or agricultural environment. This role is central to the success of the busy veterinary operation and will include delivery of customer service, retail, financial & facilities management.

**Areas of responsibility**:

- Supporting our customer service, companion animal and farm veterinary teams
- Assist and identify customer needs
- Marketing and promotional strategies
- Policy and procedures management
- Facility management for the premises
- Health and safety maintenance
- Financial Reporting

Totally Vets Feilding Clinic is a mixed practice of veterinarians servicing the Manawatu community with experienced teams for both production and companion animals, supported by a skilled business support team. Whilst industry knowledge is important for this role, the ability to fit within and contribute to the team environment will be a key factor.

This role is based in Feilding, and along with offering a competitive salary, it also offers additional benefits like comprehensive staff discounts, health care benefits, a uniform and free car parking.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility required to work outside of these hours from time to time.
