Ebbett Toyota are currently looking for an organised and efficient |#Assistant Accountant#| to join our team in Hamilton.

This is a key role where you’ll work closely with our Financial Controller to support the financial management, reporting, and operational processes that drive our business forward.

|#Key responsibilities include#|:

- Review of all Balance Sheet accounts
- Assist with weekly summary report of current sales, cash position and stock levels
- Daily review of cash position and floorplan facility to ensure funding limits not exceeded
- Assist with the preparing, producing and review of monthly financial statements, management reports and annual accounts
- Assist with reviewing of internal financial controls
- Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Maintain and review the fixed asset register including monthly depreciation
- Reconciliation and review of floorplan vehicle stocks, and stock inventory
- Become the System Administrator for the business DMS'

- Hold a degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
- Possess strong computer skills, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- Have strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Be an effective decision-maker
- Have excellent written communication, verbal communication and listening skills
- Be highly organised with an ability to efficiently prioritise and handle multiple priorities
- Have an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information'
