Do you have knowledge of the NZ Well Child / Tamariki Ora framework?

As our Child Health Nurse, you will be responsible for the provision of Well Child / Tamariki Ora Services in the Taupo District. The Tamariki Ora service includes before school checks and health & safety education and promotion.

A postgraduate qualification in areas including children's growth and development, community health, primary health, maternal and child health, would be advantageous. As well as practical knowledge of Te Reo and tikanga Māori or a willingness to learn.

Tūwharetoa Health is a kaupapa Māori health services provider that delivers whānau centred services in the Tūrangi, Taupō and Mangakino communities. Our vision is to improve the health of all who reside in the rohe of Ngāti Tūwharetoa and we are guided by the values of Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga and Huhuatanga.
