**About the role**

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Stormwater Engineer to join their team and support the implementation of a groundbreaking new stormwater system. This role is integral in reviewing projects where the system has been specified and providing PS1 (Producer Statement - Design) approvals.

Reporting to senior leadership, the responsibilities include:

- Reviewing and assessing projects for stormwater and structural compliance
- Providing PS1 approvals and ensuring adherence to NZ engineering standards
- Collaborating with engineers, specifiers, and regulatory bodies to support product implementation
- Advising clients on technical requirements and best practices
- Supporting research, development, and refinement of stormwater products
- Contributing to technical documentation and case studies

**Skills and experience**
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) qualification required
- Degree in Civil, Structural, or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
- Strong background in stormwater and structural engineering
- Experience in producing PS1 approvals and knowledge of NZ compliance standards
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., CAD, Civil 3D, MSEW, or equivalent)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
