HY Engineering LTD is an Auckland based and small but growing company specializing in welding and spray painting services for construction projects. As our workload expands, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **Industrial Spray Painter** to join our dedicated team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as required
- Follow technical instructions and safety protocols for handling hazardous materials
- Maintain and clean spray painting equipment and work areas
- Conduct quality checks and touch-ups as needed
- Adhere to project timelines and coordinate with welders and site supervisors
- Assist with loading/unloading and basic maintenance tasks when required

**Skills and Experience：**
- Have a minimum of a NZQF Level 4 qualification in a related Industrial Spray Painting field or a bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline.
- Alternatively, at least two years of relevant work experience in spray painting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and paint system requirements
- Familiarity with safety practices and PPE use in a painting environment
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to work in workshop and/or outdoor conditions
