**The opportunity**:
Once a year we run a New Zealand wide intake for apprentices to work toward gaining
**The New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 4) with strand in Plant and Equipment.** You might be a school leaver, have already completed an Automotive pre trade course, or looking to retrain.

We have spots available in multiple locations:
** Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill.** Please mention what locations you would be interested in on your cover letter.

You will join a team of experienced technicians and be part of a structured, industry relevant training programme that will provide you with on the job learning experiences that will include practical assessments and some theory-based training.

**We are ideally looking for**:

- A school, pre-trade course leaver, or those looking to retrain
- A minimum of three years secondary school education, having achieved good results in English, Math's and NCEA Level 2/NCEA Level 1
- Full Class 1 driving licence (unless age prevents that)
- Someone who has a strong interest in our industry, enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants to make their mark
- People with enthusiasm and energy coupled with a willingness to learn and get stuck in
- People that respect Health and Safety procedures
- Strong work ethic including being committed to bookwork and fulfilling all course requirements
- A sense of humor
