**Contract**: Casual (shifts would fit between the hours 7:00am - 4:00pm, 10:30am - 7:00pm and 4:00pm - 7:00pm, 7 days a week)

**Salary**: $47,300 ' $56,500

Hutt Hospital is currently looking for two kitchen assistants to join our food service team on a casual basis.
The role includes meal assembly, basic food preparation, transport of trolleys and cleaning. This is a busy kitchen with a fast paced work day. On the job training is provided with opportunities to gain NZQA qualifications as you progress.
Hutt Hospital food service provides approximately 1000 meals each day. All meals are prepared and served fresh onsite. We are committed to ensuring quality meals to our patients, staff, visitors and Meals on Wheels recipients.

We are a team of 38 diverse people who take pride in providing quality, tasty meals to our patients, staff and visitors. Our work day is busy but we like to have a laugh with each other as we work. We encourage a collaborative team environment, and like to work hard while having fun doing so.
