We have a vacancies for Support Workers to be part of a dedicated team to assist an individual with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) in the Eastern Suburbs of Christchurch. Various shifts available across a 24-hour period, with flexibility to work after school hours, weekends and sleep overs. **What is our client looking for?** - "I'm looking for someone that doesn't mind getting out and about; I don't want to stay inside all day" "I like to have a good chat with people and want to continue socialising with friends, going to see live music and going to the beach"_ **What does the role involve?** Working as part of a dedicated, passionate team that all have an integral role in supporting the individual with SCI. **This will include assisting with**: - Personal cares, showering and dressing - Safe transfers - Grooming - Meal prep and nutritional support - Household management; cleaning and grocery shopping Regular hours, depending on your qualifications and previous experience, with a pay scale from $22.49-$28.25. A thorough induction programme, including classroom and on the job training, provided by an approachable team.
