**Te **kōwhiringa | The Opportunity**
The Auckland-based Logistics Specialist works within a small team to support field teams, technicians, external contracts and customers with mobilising plant equipment and consumables to support the delivery of our Telecommunications works. This is an excellent opportunity for a systems-oriented individual with inventory management or logistics experience in a warehouse environment.
Duties include:
- Managing inbound and outbound stock, receipting, pick-packing, dispatching, inventory control, data entry and reporting.
- Assuming responsibility of Downer material, transport and warehousing spend.
- Developing relationships with field teams to better anticipate designation and returns of stock and equipment.
- Uphold Zero Harm practices throughout the store, ensuring a clean and safe workplace for our Logistics teams and Technicians.
**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
- Good understanding of MS Office, Sharepoint and Inventory Management systems.
- Detail oriented with the ability to build strong relationships and understand end-to-end Logistic processes.
- Experience with an ERP or similar program.
- Inventory Management experience within a complex, technical or construction environment.
- Good planning and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Current full drivers' license and forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
