As the Dispatcher you will be responsible for managing fleet resources effectively and plan customer freight for deliveries. Working with the transport and operational staff you will facilitate utilisation, planning, allocation, staging and route planning for pick-up and delivery planning, in order to meet and exceed the customers’ and company’s expectations.

**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

The purpose of the Office Dispatcher is to manage fleet resources effectively to plan customer freight for deliveries to meet DIFOT (Delivered in-full, on time) expectations. Working with the transport and operational staff you will;
- To effectively plan and manage Customer LCL volume for collections and deliveries
- To work closely with the Transport and Operations team and communicate effectively with team members to ensure both internal and external customer expectations are met
- To work closely with the Floor Dispatcher to ensure fleet capabilities are optimised to meet all daily collection and delivery requirements
- To assist in providing Operations with daily volume forecasts from Customer collections to ensure that Operations can effectively manage capacity planning
- May be required to operate forklifts to assist in the loading and unloading of trucks to assist with deliveries
- Effective planning of pallet de-hires
- Assist Transport Manager with transport tasks as required

**Your Skills - ō pūkenga**
- 2 -4 years’ experience in a relevant field
- Knowledge of Transport, Freight, Logistics industry
- To hold your Full NZ Driver’s License with classes 2,4 or 5 also advantageous
- Hold a current F and OSH endorsed forklift license
- Understanding of data analysis and interpretation
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office
- E-Road and On-Time knowledge advantageous
