Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is looking for a Student Recruitment Advisor that will contribute to the annual recruitment of tauira at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. The successful applicant will be part of a team that build and maintain relationships within the community. The role will also require the successful applicant to bring innovative thinking when promoting Te Wānanga o Aotearoa through events, community projects and marketing campaigns.

You will have proven experience-building relationships with a range of audiences including young people, Māori, Pasifika and/ or migrant communities.

This position can be based in our Dunedin Campus and the successful applicant MUST have a Full NZ Driver's Licence and be readily available to work weekends on an ad-hoc basis for the likes of events.

**Minimum requirements for this role are**:

- A Diploma in business or marketing-related field;
- At least three years’ experience in marketing, recruitment or education;
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills and be confident to speak in public;
- An understanding of marketing and sales concepts is an advantage; and
- A sound understanding of brand representation in the community.

A basic understanding of te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings and of Māori values, culture and tikanga is expected.
