We are on the lookout for three enthusiastic students to join our Library team this summer If you are passionate about connecting with the community and fostering a love of learning through the support of our physical and digital library collections, we’d love to hear from you.

This internship will see you assisting with our Heritage collection, collection development, circulation, reference, holiday programmes, and enquiry support.

As the first point of contact for members of our community, you will play an essential role in the delivery of our awesome library services. You will be an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude and thrive when delivering exceptional frontline customer service.

If you enjoy helping people as much as you enjoy reading and talking about books, this is the perfect role for you

All applicants are required to be either a New Zealand Citizen or have a current New Zealand work visa.
