Great opportunity for a talented administrator to join our existing vetting and administration team on a casual basis to help support us with key work relating to the periodic safety checking of our kaimahi.

This role sits within the Talent Acquisition team and will be responsible for ensuring we conduct 3-yearly periodic safety checks for a range of frontline positions across the organisation. Which includes children's safety checks, CYRAS and police checks.
This role will provide assurance that our children's workers meet legislative requirements and keep tamariki and rangatahi in our care safe.
**Ng pumanawatanga ou | What you will bring**
Key requirements of the role include:
- Review and submit periodic safety check consents and documentation to ensure it is in-line with Children's Act requirements and background checking is carried out in accordance with policy
- Complete data entry at a high level of attention to detail for kaimahi employment records
- Maintain confidentiality of documentation and information as required and as appropriate
- Proactively engage with kaimahi to ensure timeliness of completion of periodic safety checks including various forms of communication such as direct calling
- An enthusiastic work ethic and team player mentality
- Bring urgent issues to the attention of the Talent Lead where appropriate
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga M ori, and Pacific peoples' culture
