**Salary**: $77,087 to $107,600 pa - dependent on experience

**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated dietitian to join our team based in Porirua.

The role will provide dietetic services to long-term clients with mental health and/or intellectual disability conditions in hospital settings on the Kenepuru-Porirua Campus. Te Korowai Whāriki (TKW) is an operational group of regional and national services that has staff based in various locations in the Central Region. Te Korowai Whāriki services are both inpatient and community based. The service consists primarily of two arms - Central Regional Services and the Intellectual Disability (ID) Services that are part of the Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Services (MHAIDS). The role will cover the following units:

- Nga Taiohi, a national secure youth forensic 10 bed unit.
- Purehurehu and Rangipapa (adult forensic services including the and the Community team)
- Tāwhirimātea and Tane Mahuta (forensic and rehabilitation services).

**Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team**

The Dietitian will work closely with other MHAID Services clinicians including Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Social Workers. The Dietitian is a valued member of the MDT and triages case
- load management via a referral system. The Dietitian will also work with Food Services to ensure the menu service for the long-term clients is fit for purpose. This will include group education, individual consultation and nutrition care planning, and outpatient services.

You will have an ability to quickly build strong working relationships with clients, whanau and the wider multidisciplinary team.
