An opportunity has emerged for someone who is passionate about enabling the potential of others to help unleash the creative and entrepreneurial capabilities of the next generation of University of Auckland graduates.
We need someone with proven marketing and communication skills to assist in implementing a promotional programme to recruit current students, staff and the wider Auckland community to engage with our diverse range of innovation and entrepreneurship programmes and events, as well as creating storytelling content to showcase the University’s strengths in innovation and entrepreneurship.

This is a **full-time** (37.5 hours per week), **permanent** opportunity.
Remuneration is $68,600 - $84,700 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

**Mō tō mātou rōpū | About the team**
The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) is a multi-award-winning entrepreneurship centre hosted in the Business School that excels in developing innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets and capabilities in students and staff from all faculties across Waipapa Taumata Rau. We help the University achieve its strategic goal of becoming a “global powerhouse of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship” by nurturing talent and helping transform ideas into impactful ventures led by students, researchers, and staff. CIE delivers a suite of experiential trainings, workshops and programmes.
The CIE team is passionate about making an impact and creating a better Aotearoa by unleashing entrepreneurial potential across Waipapa Taumata Rau. CIE is fast-paced, fun, supportive and collaborative environment.
**He kōrero mōu | About you**
In this role you will be responsible for inspiring the interest of everyone from students through to industry leaders, so you will need to be able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will be unflappable, able to work with deadlines and have exceptional organisation and planning skills. Creative thinking, and being able to work collaboratively are key for success in this position.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
Under the leadership of our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Engagement Manager you will be responsible for a variety of promotional activities, including:
- Design and delivery of recruitment campaigns to recruit current students and staff to participate in CIE’s co-curricular opportunities
- Management of website updates (Campuspress), our CRM system, Eventbrite and contact databases
- Digital analytics
- Writing feature articles and general copywriting
- Social media management
- Occasional design of graphics for collateral
- Managing photo and film shoots
Degree qualified, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills, experience with graphic design, management of a CRM system, social media and online tools and platforms.
