**About the Role**
We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our fun and supportive Hornby team in a diverse sales role. You will be passionate about customer service and work closely with other sales team members on new leads. Days and hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 10am - 5.00pm on Sundays.

Consult in store with customers to provide them with the latest design advice and interior solutions for their home. No customer and no home are the same so you will need to be adaptable and able to suggest a range of options.

Along with customer service, you will also help to maintain stock levels and inventory as well as managing the customer database in our POS and online systems.

**Key Skills and Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with sales team members on new leads
- Develop repeat business with our customers
- Maintain stock through our POS and Office systems
- Provide both design and technical advice on products
- General shop maintenance including updating merchandise displays and housekeeping
- Keep up with the latest design trends in the interiors industry
- Consult with customers and lead them through our product ranges to find the best solution for their home
