**Position Overview**

As Trimble’s APAC Taxation Professional, you will use your specialist knowledge to manage and oversee the tax-related compliance activities of the organisation. You will work closely with the product development teams to ensure that Research and Development Tax Incentives (RDTI) are effectively managed and quarterly financial claims are compiled in a timely manner.

**What You Will Do**

You will be embedded within a locally-based and regionally-focused finance team that analyses financial information. Key responsibilities include:

- Work with product development teams within the organisation to project manage the RDTI process and compile the quarterly financial claim
- Review and ensure transfer pricing documentation is updated and compliant
- Prepare Fringe Benefit Tax Returns
- Compile and submit GST Returns
- Provision for Income Tax and Deferred Income Tax
- Prepare supporting schedules for the Annual Income Tax returns and correspond with third-party tax preparers
- Manage other tax-related compliance submissions for the APAC region.

**What Skills & Experience You **Should **Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- AND 5+ years of relevant work experience
- OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Knowledge and experience in AU & NZ Tax requirements
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skills with an eye for detail and accuracy, and the ability to effectively communicate conclusions/recommendations to others
- Meet tight deadlines
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Flexible approach to working in a changing environment and can work well under pressure
- Curiosity and willingness to learn.

**What Skills & Experience You **Could **Bring**
- Exposure to technology or engineering sectors
- Previous international tax experience
- Experience with Oracle ERP system
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
