Te Whanau Tokotokorangi Trust is a Kaupapa maori service that provides care for people with a range of disabilities. We offer 24 hour residential services and day services to our people. We also provide all training including NZQA Level 3 & Level 4 in health and disability career force training so you get qualified whilst working on the job.

We have six (6) residential homes in the community with 4-5 people living in those homes. We do cooking, bathing, cleaning, administering medication as well as taking them shopping, swimming, rugby games, pictures and events. In residential care we have evening shifts, weekend shifts and sleepovers at the homes so the hours do vary. It is not a 9-5 position so you will need to come with an open mind.

In day service we offer Tikanga maori programmes, arts, research, gym, Zumba, social outings and much more. These hours vary as well from day hours, evening hours and weekend hours pending what the programme offers.

If you have skills like kapa haka, te reo, music, play a guitar or fitness we will want to talk to you or if you like taking people out to dinner, pictures or go fishing then don’t be shy. If you like sewing or knitting, please ring us there might be something there for you. Just imagine getting paid to do something you enjoy.
