TSK Partnership, trading as Daily Catch Fish and Chips, is a fast-food business located at 81 Paramount Parade, Tikipunga, Whangrei, New Zealand. We operate from 10:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday. Due to the long operation hours and recent business growth, we are looking for 2-3 Kitchen Hands to join our busy team and share our workload and shifts.
The duties of the role are as below:
- Maintain and clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
- Manage sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Measure ingredients for specific food items
- Mix ingredients as required
- Operate cooking equipment like grills, deep fat fryers and microwaves
- Read food order slips and receive verbal instructions
- Ensure prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements.
- Clean, cut and prepare foods for cooking.
- Wash, stock and restock workstations and display cases.
- Order and take supplies delivery.
- Serve orders to customers at counters and tables.
- Take drink and food orders and receive customer payment.
- Other relevant kitchen duties as per required
The successful applicants shall:
- Be able to work long hours and rostered shifts
- Be passionate about the profession
- Preferably have relevant work experience in fast food industry or restaurant
- Have a passion for satisfying our customers requirements and expectations
- Have a Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality focus
- Be well organised and capable of multi-tasking
- Be reliable, efficient, and hardworking.
- Be self-managing and able to work effectively in a team as well individually
- Have a positive and can-do attitude.
- Have no drug and alcohol issue
- Have no Criminal Conviction Record
