New World Metro Willis Street has a full-time opportunity for a Fresh Foods Assistant Manager to help lead our amazing Produce, Butchery, Seafood, Service Deli and Bakery Departments.

The successful applicant will:

- Have experience in a Fresh Foods department or similar food environment.
- Have experience in leading a team of people in a retail environment.
- Have good computer & financial literacy.
- Have a passion for delivering quality products while adhering to Food Safety regulations.
- Not be afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting involved.
- Display excellent personal hygiene, great communication skills, high presentation standards, honesty, and an excellent work ethic. To lead by example.
- Have proven integrity & performance history.

Reporting to the Fresh Foods Manager, this is an opportunity to join the leadership team in the business & can lead to further career opportunities within the supermarket.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Fresh Foods Manager with the end-to-end ownership & management of the Fresh Foods departments including
- Buying & working with suppliers
- Display planning, management
- Price Integrity
- Stock Levels
- Managing rosters
- Training team members
- Food Safety
