Customs Information Services is establishing a new group to take on the technical ownership of the new developed New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD) product. We are currently seeking the Product Manager (NZTD) for this newly established position to own the product roadmap and lead future of this service. The Product Manager (NZTD) role is to be a pivotal role across multiple agencies and stakeholders. This is a full-time permanent role, based in our Wellington Customhouse.

Reporting directly to the Tower Manager (NZTD), the Product Manager (NZTD) is accountable to their customers and the Tower Manager.

The Product Manager will partner with their customers, assisting them with the business strategies and objectives, and proactively translating these into the NZTD Product Roadmap.

In collaboration with the wider cross-agency team, you will produce and own the Product Technology Roadmap and provide guidance, prioritisation and the necessary decisions to enable the Product Teams' to deliver to your Roadmap.

You will develop, and maintain full detailed Product Lifecycle plans, evolving and adjusting as needed to stay aligned to the business and wider Customs needs.

To join Customs you must be a **New Zealand Citizen or New Zealand Permanent Resident** and be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate level of security clearance to Secret level. Due to the nature of Customs work you must have a clear Police record. Successful applicants are also required to pass a drug test.
