**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The primary purpose of this role is to support and drive internal communications at a national level in a way that drives engagement and understanding of our work, utilising innovative approaches and proven channels.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Multiple years of experience in communication roles (in the range of 5 years) and in managing communications and engagement teams.
- Understands the public sector.
- Proven success with engaging and influencing diverse groups.
- Demonstrates strong relationship building, interpersonal, collaborative, and customer-focused skills and experience, and success in the presentation of materials and ideas to achieve cut through and impact of work developed for an organisation.
- Has leadership level experience and responsibility for managing people, budgets, forecasting, and cost management.
