About the role | Mō te tūnga
The Team Leader - Family Group Conferences provides leadership to a team of Coordinators who are responsible for convening and holding Family Group Conferences (FGC) under the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989.
In this role you will be responsible for the FGC workplan across the Wellington region. You will provide professional development and supervision to a team of Coordinators focusing on continuous improvement and ensuring a high standard of FGC practice across Oranga Tamariki.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Managing the FGC function for your region in accordance with legislation
- Managing and developing a team of FCG coordinators
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including: Site Managers, Site teams, and Practice Leaders
- Regularly reviewing and improving systems, processes, frameworks, tools, and standards
- Monitoring demand and quality across FGCs in your region
- Managing workflows and caseloads for your team
- Collaborating with the National Advisor FGC in the Professional Practice Group and other FGC Team Leaders to provide tools, resources, guidance, and learning resources for your team
- Providing reporting and analysis across your region
- Effectively managing risk

About you | Mōu
- Experience leading a team
- Ideally a minimum of three years experience of coordinating FGCs or organising and facilitating complex and sensitive group meetings with multiple stakeholders
- A full, clean drivers licence
- Social sector and/or community experience
- Experience with facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution

- A commitment to Oranga Tamariki's Māori cultural framework
- Fluency in Te Reo
- Strong relationships within your region, both internally and externally
