Our Kōrure Whānau kaimahi support urban Māori by delivering integrated services in education, health, and social care. - In this crucial role you will be tasked with the restoration of safety and mauri ora for all whānau that have been impacted by, or are at risk of family violence. Armed with your strong knowledge of Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori you will develop connections with whānau and develop action plans to ensure long-term change. As an innovative kaimahi, you will support whānau to determine their wider aspirations and create a tapestry of support from within community networks to fortify a path towards lasting change.**Your Responsibilities.** - Supporting whānau to achieve desired outcomes by coordinating with internal and external services as necessary. - Ensuring all cases are followed up within established timeframes, guidelines, and policies. - Maintaining accurate documentation of whānau assessments, attendance, and evaluations. - Developing skills through training and educational courses relevant to the role. - Collaborating with other kaimahi to uphold a strong model of integrated service delivery and ensure appropriate care for whānau. **Your Skills & Experience.** - Strong commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori. - Minimum of 3-5 years experience working with whānau. - Demonstrated knowledge of community service networks. - Familiar with case management and administration practices. - Excellent written, verbal, and ICT-based communication abilities. - High level of integrity, reliability, and self-management. - NZ Drivers License is essential for local travel. **Nau Mai, Haere Mai.** Te Whānau o Waipareira is one Aotearoa's largest non-government organisations, having served the Waitākere Region for over 30 years.
