**About the role at The Doctors Massey Medical -**

The lead nurse is a pivotal person in the practice, as a member of the management team. We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Practice Nurse to provide leadership for a small team of nurses, ensuring that the nursing team delivers high quality care to their patients and works co-operatively and efficiently.

**This role is full time and you will be responsible for the mentoring and training of your nursing team.**

**As the lead nurse, you will demonstrate the following skills**:

- Experienced practice nurse with motivation to lead a team
- Caring and compassionate about your patients
- Show a high level of professionalism, sensitivity and respect
- Maintain a positive workplace environment
- Patience to mentor and train your team of nurses
- We are currently using My Practice database but are transiting to Medtech Evolution in April.
