GURBANI KAUR LIMITED T/A The Cut cube professional hair saloon is providing quality haircuts and other services to customers. We are based in Papatoetoe, Auckland region. We require 2 Hair Dressers/Barbers to cater for our customer’s needs. This is a full-time permanent role with a min of 30 hours per week at the rate of $29.70 to $35.00 per hour.

GURBANI KAUR LIMITED T/A The Cut cube professional hair saloon is providing quality haircuts and other services to customers. We are based in Papatoetoe, Auckland. We require 3 Hair Dressers/Barbers to cater for our customer’s needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
- Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ taste.
- Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)
- Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment
- Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns
- Shave and trim beards and moustaches as per customer choice
- Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
- Manage bookings and serve walk-ins
- Ensure the tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed
- Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate
- Charge customer and collect payments eg Cash and eftpos handling Skills required
- Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers
- Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques
- Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths
- Knowledge of making Indian styles moustaches and beards to cater for our regular Indian customers
- Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing
- Up-to-date with industry trends
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours

Requirement:
NZ Register Level 4 qualification or higher or 2 Year experience in the relevant field

What we are offering:
Permanent Full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week

Depending on your skills, a good pay rate between $29.70 to $35.00 per hour

On-the-job training for 2 weeks will be provided if required

Good working culture and team support

Tea/Coffee during breaks
