Smart Tech Electrical Limited looking for a Electrical Trade Assistant in permanent full-time roles. We work on a variety of Large-Scale Infrastructure projects including Data & Communications, Retirement Villages and New Commercial Fit-outs, and old home renovation. You will work in a diverse and high-performing team and be exposed to new opportunities along the way. Come and join the team What we offer you:

Full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours
Though our main base is in Auckland but you will be required to travel around different regions which include but are notlimited to Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Canterbury, Wellington, Whanganui-Manawatu
We will offer you PPE Equipment
Appropriate training will be provided.
We will provide you with accommodation if are required to stay overnight in any other region apart from Auckland. Whatwe need from you:
Relevant 6 months experience as an Electrician or Electrical Trade Assistant or experience in relvant field is acceptable.
Desire to work and up-skill
Ability to learn and pass knowledge to others
Reliability and Punctuality is essential
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Time management skills
Flexibility to work longer hours or shifts
Flexibility to work on weekends. The Electrical Trades Assistant is responsible for:
View electrical and data layouts to determine the appropriate system and ensure compliance to electrical and fire codes
Install and test the system as per the instruction given or requirement of the customer as per compliance if workingindependently.
Responsible for repairing any problems with the electrical wiring and fit outs and replacing defective parts
Work within guidelines set by Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager to ensure are installed and electrical wiring and fitouts,

Monitor progress of all work and, when required, communicate any delays or problems to Leading Hand, Supervisor, orManager
Carry out quality work in the area of responsibility in accordance with all policies and procedures.
Ensure full understanding of safety objectives and policies and request advice or opinion when required
Participate as a member of the team
All other duties as assigned
