Software Engineering Manager

GHD are recruiting for a Software Engineering Manager who will be responsible for leading a focussed team of Immersive 3D Real-time and Web Application developers in the management, design, development, and maintenance of a small suite of software products. The manager will work closely with other departments and teams within the business, to ensure that the software meets the needs of the business and the end-users.

**Your focus areas will include**:

- Lead a team in the development, delivery and maintenance of 3D Real-time and Web Application s
- Ensure that the software development process is efficient, reliable, and scalable
- Ensure that the software meets the business and client’s compliance requirements
- Manage the resources and budget for the software development team
- Mentor and coach team members to help them develop their skills and advance their careers

**We are looking for**:

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in software development and managing software development teams
- Strong technical background and experience with software development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication as well as analytical and leadership skills
- Delivered at least one commercial project using a modern web framework such as Vue.js, React or Angular
- Delivered at least one commercial project using a modern real-time 3d engine such as Unreal or Unity
