For more information about us please visit our sites: - **About the Role**: With good business growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic **Sales Representative** who is responsible in growing the current market share in some areas of New Zealand with both new and existing customer accounts. They will be responsible for maximizing sales revenue as well as developing direct customer accounts with existing and new customers. **Who are we looking for**: - Someone who can think on their feet - Someone who can challenge the status quo - Think outside the square - Getting the job done promptly and accurately - Works well in a team but takes individual responsibility **Job Tasks and Responsibilities**: - Achieves sales budgets as determined by the National Sales Manager/ Company - On-going training and marketing execution to ensure solid and profitable relationships which are measured by the increase and escalation of product recommendation through existing customers and an increase in the store footprint by gaining new customers - Calls on all existing customers in the **Waikato, Northland, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions**. - Calls on existing Pet food specialists as well as seeking out new customers. - Identifies all existing and potential customers in the sales territory, and creates an efficient and cost-effective calling cycle - Controls cost by always ensuring efficiencies and anticipating customer needs - Timely and accurate reporting and feedback to relevant departments in order to create insight into the territory and to highlight pertinent issues - Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity reports - Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes - Ensures to visit independent stores in the assigned area **Skills and Experience**: - With 2-3 years' proven sales experience and background in FMCG or Pet Food Industry. - With familiarity in Waikato, Northland, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions demographics; - With experience in handling key accounts in the area - Has the ability to sell across multiple customers and the ability to sell across multiple brands - Previous experience in the pet food and fast-moving consumer goods markets will be is an advantage - Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals - Proficient in MS Office Applications - With good English written and verbal communication skills - With a complete driver's license - Preferably based in Hamilton or South Auckland. - Able to travel 2-3 days a week to visit customers **What you get by joining us**: If you like what you read above and you think you have what it takes to join our innovative team, then please see the below to what we can offer you in return: - Career progression and internal opportunities - Continuous training and development - Long service rewards - The chance to work alongside passionate people - Great team culture - Generously discounted pet food - Being part of a dynamic progressive company
