**Responsibilities as our Fire Equipment Technician**:

- Service and test fire sprinkler, hose reel, special hazards and hydrant systems.
- Represent Wormald New Zealand on site in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that the system is installed as in accordance with the intent of the drawings supplied and directions given.
- Sell and service Fire Equipment and related products to existing and prospective customers including commercial, industrial, governmental and other organisations.
- Maintain and develop existing customer relationships and to ensure all work carried out meets agreed quality standards.
- Attain budgeted sales and service targets, ensuring where
possible, there is a direct focus on selling or promoting training
internally and externally at agreed price structure.
- Being out in the field, working on our customer sites on a mix of preventative maintenance and fault detection of Fire Alarm Systems.
- Working unsupervised on systems that are both vital to keeping our customers safe and are also highly regulated so all works need to be completed not just to exacting regulations but to the higher standards that Wormald pride themselves in.

**How you will do it**:

- Participate in training provided by the Company and outside sources to keep abreast and ahead of developments in the industry and to improve your own skills.
- Demonstration of enthusiasm towards products and services both used and provided by the company.
- Positive attitudes, loyalty and enthusiasm towards the Company objectives.
