**The role**:
We are looking for an Inventory Controller in the Warehousing and Distribution team **(6am-2.30pm)**. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, this role will work on improving and maintaining the accuracy of inventory at our Raw Materials & Packaging Warehouse in East Tamaki.

**The responsibilities**:

- Maintaining/updating inventory records on our warehouse management system on a daily basis
- Conduct regular cycle counts using RF scanner and MHE
- Increase & Maintain the accuracy of our inventory to >98% at line and bin level
- Reconcile daily cycle counts, record/investigate and report on variances & root cause analysis
- Assist the Inventory Manager and finance team with quarterly stock takes.
- Attend daily production meetings & report on or answer any inventory related issues.
- You will work alongside our warehouse teams to suggest, implement and improve our systems and processes, so the ability to communicate and work well with others is a must.
- Assist the Inventory Manager with inventory projects and variance investigations.

**About you**:

- 3+ years of successful Inventory Control experience within a production/warehousing environment
- Hold current forklift/reach/stock picker license
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Experience in Navision is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Strong analytical skills
- Have a high level of skill using Microsoft Excel & Outlook
- A passion for ensuring accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Customer service oriented
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and a result driven attitude
- A positive attitude and team ethic
- Flexible with hours of work
