We have an exciting opportunity for a professional in the **Aviation industry **to join our business as the **Team Leader **in any of our New Zealand offices.

If you are wanting to play a key role in building GHD’s presence and market share across the New Zealand and Pacific Aviation sector, the Team Leader role is for you. The role is varied with both an operational and strategic focus. You will be responsible for supporting the Business Group in creating and maintaining strong client engagement and experience as well as realising business opportunities. You will primarily be supporting the development and implementation of the Group’s business plan whilst simultaneously providing technical leadership and overseeing and participating in multi-disciplinary projects, bids and proposals, and mentoring of team members.

**Working with the Business Group Leader, this rare, leadership position has exciting growth opportunities and will see you involved in**:

- Leading the technical and commercial direction on significant projects within the Aviation sector, identifying and creating business opportunities and effectively managing risks.
- Mentoring, training & investing in the development of your team members and driving an inclusive, diverse and safe culture
- Identifying, winning & delivering exceptional projects
- Managing the allocation of people to projects in agreement with the Project Managers and Project Directors.

**What would you bring to the team?**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, coupled with significant experience in the Aviation consulting injury, either locally in New Zealand or internationally.
- You’ll have a focus on client experience and be able to manage several projects at once and determine priorities
- You will possess the ability to lead, mentor, inspire and develop a talented team of professionals to deliver exceptional results to our clients whilst also being a natural collaborator who is motivated by your team’s success.
- High-level market awareness and business development skills, with well-established personal relationships across the relevant industry sector
