**Description**:
JJ Horticulture Ltd. is a horticulture contracting company based in the Bay of Plenty region.

We require full-time Machinery Operators to perform a range of tasks involving the safe operation and upkeep of heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, hoists, trucks etc.

**Day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- Safety checks on machinery before operation
- Safely loading, transporting and unloading machinery (to and from worksites)
- Attaching and calibrating machinery accessories
- Safely operating machinery (self-propelled and tractor-drawn)
- Ensuring routine maintenance is completed on machinery
- Keeping logs of activities and reporting to management on outcomes

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 years relevant/transferable experience, such as experience driving heavy vehicles, operating similar machinery etc.
- Ability to pass random drug tests.
- Clear police record.
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as our clients frequently require our assistance outside of normal business hours.

**Pay range**: $30 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.

**Hours**: As this is a full-time position, you will be guaranteed a minimum 30 hours per week but will likely be required to work approximately 40 hours per week.

**Location of Job**: Bay of plenty
