**Caregiver Opportunities - Ultimate Care Karadean Court**
The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider. We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand.
We have
**Level 3 and Level 4 Caregiver opportunities**at our Karadean Court Facility, which is the only specialist aged care facility in the area. Our beautiful facility is situated in the tranquil, rural town of Oxford, which overlooks stunning views over the hills in mid-Canterbury, close to local shops, cafes and the library.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Providing and maintaining safe environment for residents.
- Individualized quality care to the residents and assist them to achieve the optimum level of well-being for each person under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist in the provision of a high level of care meeting the standards required by the Clinical Service Manager and Facility Manager accordingly.
- Demonstrate customer service and attention to detail while performing Caregiver duties for the facility at all times.
- Ensure all equipment is used in accordance with relevant guidelines to minimize any potential damage at all times.
- Ensure daily work schedule is completed.
- Communicate with other team members effectively to ensure smooth delivery of service to residents.
- Perform additional necessary duties as directed.
**Skills and experience**
- You must have previous experience as a caregiver, preferable in rest home care, hospital level care, (respite care, dementia Care and palliative Care)
- Level 3 or 4 NZ Health and Wellbeing qualification or equivalent.
- Proven team member experience
- Proven verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to prioritise and organise effectively
- Previous experience in the Aged Care industry preferred
