We are Southern Traders, an established store running for over 28 years - Located in Manurewa, selling new and used furniture.

We are looking for someone who can transition into a Store Manager position to aid the owner in running the store - Any management experience is a big advantage, but full training will be given.

Must be eager to learn and know how to work well in a team environment
- Enthusiasm for retail sales
- Excellent customer service
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Have an eye for detail

The role is diverse and interesting and your typical week will include the following tasks:
Selling stock, meeting targets, merchandising stock in-store, cleaning furniture and appliances, listing items on TradeMe, liaising delivery times with customers for pick ups and deliveries, stock taking and stock ordering, providing quotes to clients, general office/admin work, sending Tax Invoices, ensuring all staff have suitable tasks for the day, setting targets, buying furniture off customers/suppliers, sorting out delivery routes for the delivery drivers and pricing items for sale.

Days off will be Sunday plus a weekday (excl Monday), though we are open to a six day week if you prefer.

Salary from $65,000 PA plus bonus.
