New World Pioneer is a large, locally owned and operated supermarket in Palmerston North. We employ a team of 200+ who pride themselves on delivering exceptional Customer Service.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic team members to join our Checkout team Part time. To be successful in this role, you must be able to provide excellent customer service, have a positive attitude, work well under pressure and be upbeat. We are looking for people who work well in a team and have a real passion for people.

This part-time position is perfect for university students looking to gain valuable work experience while maintaining their academic commitments, and/or parents looking to supplement their household income.

The successful will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

- Adaptability
- Willingness to learn
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Bring a positive attitude and have a passion for customer service

Below are the shifts available, ideally the applicant would be able to complete two or more shifts, including one weekend day.

**Hours Available**:
**Monday**:
4.00pm to 8.00pm

12.00pm to 8.00pm

**Tuesday**:
4.00pm to 8.00pm

**Thursday**:
4.00pm to 9.00pm

**Friday**:
4.00pm to 9.00pm

**Saturday**:
8.30am to 5.00pm

**Sunday**:
1.00pm to 8.00pm

9.00am to 6.00pm

Applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship or New Zealand Permanent Residency, or valid New Zealand work visa.
