**Pak’nSave Westgate**

The primary role of the Checkout Operator is to scan, pack and accurately charge customers for products whilst providing the highest standards of excellent customer service.

**What you could be Assisting with**:

- Serving customers appropriately as per company guidelines.
- Handling all money correctly ensuring the till balances daily.
- Packing all customers’ goods with care ensuring breakages and damage to perishable items is minimized and all ‘smelly’ items are separated from food items.
- Comply with all of PAK’nSAVE Westgate’s Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.
- Able to show all customers your great welcoming smile even on the busiest days.
- You’ll be truly passionate about providing the best possible in-store customer experience to our customers.
- Ensuring all draws on the checkout are appropriately always stocked.
- Ensuing the floor around the checkout area is kept clear of obstructions and credits/non purchased items are processed in a timely manner.
- Undertaking additional housekeeping as required E.g. cleaning he countertop, sweeping the floors, dealing with spillages and breakages).
- Assisting in other areas of the store as required.

**The hours for the roles are**:
1. Monday 16:00 - 21:30 (5 hours)

Thursday 17:00 - 22:00 (4.5 hours)

Saturday 16:00 - 22:00 (5.5 hours)

2. Friday 17:30 - 21:30 (4 hours)

Sunday 8:00 - 14:00 (5.5 hours)

Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen/ Resident or hold a valid work visa.
