I’ve been Kaihautῡ Tikanga (Chief People & Culture Officer) at Ember for five months with a remit to create a People & Culture function, building on and transforming the existing HR function which has great bones, including great HR systems We are a small team of me, Advisor and Coordinator and we need a talented, savvy senior HR Lead to complete our squad now that our HRM is moving on (cool for her, sad for us).

To help build the team and get some critical pieces of work underway, we are looking for someone with strong operational, generalist HR experience and an interest in OD.

**About you**

You are likely to be someone who wants a role that is powerfully meaningful, with the opportunity to leave a fabulous legacy and build future HR talent.

This would suit someone who’s either coming towards the twilight of their career or someone who wants a chance to make a mark to propel their career forward. This role will allow you to take on significant projects/programmes of work and the chance to build a high performing team, with a strong mentor (that’s me).

**Logistics**
- Based at our Huia Hub, Otahuhu with free parking available
- Travel to our different sites will be required, so an electric or hybrid car is part of the package
