We are searching for
**Experienced Concreters** for an established client in Whakatane.

Ideally at least 3 years experience, however we will base this on skill/ability.

The main aspect of the job emphasised is attention to detail and finishing.

This job is not just concrete pouring - they do everything concrete from start to finish From profiling the area, boxing, steel tying and pouring right through to levelling and polishing.

You’ll need to be physically fit as this job involves construction site labouring every day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare boxing (formwork) and/or lay reinforcing
- Pour, spread, compact, smooth and polish concrete, by hand or machine
- Cut concrete using power cutters if capable
- Measuring, cutting and shaping wood or metal
- Working closely with your team to pour concrete into moulds
- Checking work for accuracy
- Using hand and power tools to cut and bend steel bars and mesh
- Laying out steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework

**To be successful you must**:

- be reliable and keen for work
- pass a pre-employment drug test
- have transport to and from work
