**The hours and days for this Butcher position are Mon 0600-1600, Tues 0600-1600, Thu 0600-1600 and Sun 0600-1600.
**Showcase your impressive knife skills and knowledge of meat. In this hands on role, a day in the life could look like**:

- Cutting, trimming and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery
- Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs
- Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department
- Sharing your knowledge by training and developing other team members
- Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

**In this role we are looking for our new Butcher to**:

- Hold a NZ Certificate in Trade Butchery
- Have a willingness to start early and work on your feet for most of your shift
- Be a strong communicator and effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Regularly lifting up to 15kgs, bend, reach and complete repetitive movements
