With a capacity of over 380 beds, we provide secondary care to an urban population of 85,000 and over 200,000 in the catchment area. As a teaching hospital affiliated with prestigious medical schools, such as Auckland and Otago, we unite exceptional healthcare practice with modern education and research. **The Opportunity**

Work in a structured teams supported by registrars and consultants.

Palmerston North Hospital offers the following opportunities in general medicine and medical subspecialty runs.

Ability to rotate through the below medical runs:

- Cardiology
- Renal
- Geriatric Medicine - subacute including outpatient clinics.
- Haematology
- Medical Oncology
- Radiation Oncology
- Medical Relief
- General Medicine (Gen Med, Geriatrics, Neuro)

There are also opportunities to do both an ICU and an Emergency Medicine rotation.

If you are successful in gaining a position, the service will do their best to accommodate your run preferences.
