**The Venue**

Ortolana is where we started to bring the garden to the city. Ortolana is ‘market gardener’ in Italian and is where we use the best seasonal, local produce from local growers. Where we connect our food to the people and stories behind it. Ortolana is sweet, sophisticated, classy and casual. Set in the Pavilions at Britomart. By day a sun-filled conservatory and by night dine under a sea of gentle fairy lights. Come for meetings, weekend brunch, coffee and scones, long lunches, slow afternoons, intimate dinners or large group bookings, Ortolana is a fresh haven in the heart of Britomart providing a warm, gentle energy.

**The Opportunity**

We are on the hunt for **experienced waiters** to join our equally passionate team. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience in a comparable venue, love for people and hospitality, good knowledge of wine and food, ability to work weekends, and the desire to be part of a team with the drive to help it succeed
We are hiring for morning and evening teams both

**As a waiter, you will be responsible for**:

- Delivering exceptional dining experiences to all of our guests
- Being an ambassador for your venue and for Savor
- Offering recommendations, taking food and beverage orders, and serving
- Working cohesively with both front of house and back of house and ensuring communication is open
- Upselling through the knowledge of our products, and creating an engaged and authentic rapport with guests.
