Fitness Supervisor

Live in Massey? This role is based in Massey, just down the road from the Westgate Shopping Centre.
We are looking for a full time experienced Fitness Supervisor to work with the Fitness Manager to oversee and develop the Fitness Department to achieve programme area advancement, financial success and operational excellence.
The role will require overseeing of staff including rosters and assisting with recruitment, assisting the Fitness Manager with financial management, business planning, marketing, risk management, programme and service development and effective evaluation and reporting. You will also be responsible for assisting the Fitness Manager with sales, meeting targets and member retention. Plus getting into the gym and talking with the members to ensure they are getting the best out of their membership.
**What experience/skills do you need?**
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Fitness Instructor or Fitness supervisory role
- Minimum one year of people management experience
- Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) registered to ‘Exercise Consultant Level 2’ or above
- Sales and marketing experience (essential)
- Budgeting and business planning experience (desirable)
