**Your new role**
The Design Draughtsperson has responsibility for the delivery and accuracy of CAD & Revit documentation associated with client projects, ensuring each project is fit for purpose and meets the company's standards, within allocated timeframes. Whilst reporting to the CAD Manager, this position involves receiving instruction and sketches directly from Engineers from time to time. It also involves engineering design at an Engineering Technician level, such as duct sizing, pipe sizing, outdoor air calculations, H1 calculations or other tasks as required from time to time. Engineering design is to be provided under instruction from the engineer directly responsible for each project. Training will be provided.

The work covers all the systems normally found in buildings, such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, hot and cold water, medical gases, combustible gases, piped services, hydraulic services, electrical services, refrigeration systems and automatic control systems. The types of building covered typically include office buildings, hospitality, educational facilities, medical facilities, manufacturing premises and processing plants. They may be existing buildings or new build facilities.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to be a qualified CAD/Revit Draughtsperson with experience in mechanical HVAC, hydraulic & electrical engineering services, using AutoCAD, Revit (MEP) in both 2D and 3D.

Knowledge and Experience required:

- A specialisation in mechanical HVAC, hydraulic and electrical services, or a relevant related discipline
- Technician level Building Services Engineering skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to think and draw in 3D
- Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions with emphasis on project setup, multi-discipline coordination and collaboration
- Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions with emphasis on project setup, multi-discipline coordination and collaboration

Skilled in the following software packages:

- Autodesk Revit (MEP)
- Autodesk Navisworks Manager
- Autodesk AutoCAD
